GETTING STARTED
STEp 1
Come in and experience one of our CrossFit Classes for free. You can come and have a look or join in if you want. Age or Fitness Level is not a factor as CrossFit is designed to adapt to all abilities, regardless of your current fitness exposure. Please contact us to book a time as bookings are essential.
Step 2
Do our KickStart Course. This consists of a 3 session course where you will learn the 9 Fundamental Movements of CrossFit safely and correctly and develop a basic understanding of the CrossFit Method. This (or Step 3) is for everyone new to CrossFit Gisborne regardless of experience or physical strength / ability. If you have done CrossFit at another location please have your previous trainer contact us to bypass these steps.
In this Course we cover and breakdown the following
1. Air Squats, Deadlifts and Cleans
2. Front Squat, Strict Press and Push Press
3. Push Jerk, Overhead Squat and Sumo Dead High Pull
We will also run over other common movements like the Wall Ball, Kettle Bell Swings, Box Jumps, Push Ups and Burpees (you will love to hate burpees)
All movements can be scaled to suit the individual.
KickStart Classes are on a book in basis and we will try to work around a time that best suits you.
Cost $120 per person and gives you your first two main classes FREE
